In treatment for Stage 1 breast cancer with Onco score 37. Made it through Adriamycin and Cytoxin, but the Taxol is kicking my butt. Any suggestions

I have hormone-positive and HER2-positive breast cancer. My oncologist mentioned that hormone therapy combined with HER2-targeted therapy might be a first-line treatment option for me. Can I wear nail polish during radiation treatment?

Radiation and nail polish....I had read that the two do not mix. However, my radiation oncologist said no problems! This was surprisingly good news to me. In other questions: does anyone have a strong preference for cetaphil vs ceravee vs aquafor for breast radiation moisturizing? And, isn't there some bio oil developed in France but now available here? TIA

Should I use compression sleeves after lumpectomy to prevent lymphedema?

I had a lumpectomy in October 2025 and just came across some research about compression sleeves for preventing lymphedema (arm swelling). The study suggests that using compression sleeves early after breast cancer surgery may help reduce the risk of developing this complication. I'm still in the early recovery phase, and going to start radiation 12/15. I'm interested in learning from others who've been through similar experiences. What to expect from DIEP flap surgery after mastectomy and chemo?

Diep flap surgery tomorrow at 6am, after going through double mastectomy and expanders and then implants and hysterectomy 14 years ago with 1 and 1/2 years of chemo and a trial drug therapy this is where I am now. Please pray for me I’m scared of this disease and all that comes with it.

Has anyone tried just letrozole alone after stopping Ibrance?

My body couldn’t tolerate Ibrance we tried numerous times so now I’m just on letrozole. Anyone hear of that?

Can you have breast cancer twice? Facing chemo at 69 with anxiety

Hello everyone I had Breast Cancer 17 years ago low stage 17 years later diagnosed with HER2 negative Stage2 Breast Cancer,I just made 69 years old the anxiety,sleepless nights, staying up overnight,dry skin etc. is real. I recently had Port placement and reality has kicked in I'm starting Chemotherapy Infusion Monday morning December 8th 4 rounds ,rest a month,then Radiation. The decision to have Chemotherapy this was Oncologist suggested but left decision open, prayer,and late night hour thinking. I'm anxious my Dr. had the pharmacy send over a small dose of Paxil. I'm going to be fine.

What to expect with Enhertu or Kadcyla after lumpectomy radiation?

Hello everyone! Yesterday I got my pathology report from the Lumpectomy. They said it was residual issue on 3 Lymph nodes out of 15 that they took out and on the tumor bed. Anyway, my next step is radiation followed by 14 rounds of either enhertu or kadcyla as prevention. I need words of encouragement and some positive stories from someone going to something similar.
