How do you handle unsupportive comments from family during cancer recovery?

Holidays, spouses, and Thanksgiving. Here's my deal. Had my positive mammogram and ultrasound 10/3, followed by lumpectomy with Sentinel lymph node biopsy on 10/12. My surgical margins were filled with DCIS, so I then underwent an oncopladtic lumpectomy plus contractual reduction and lift for cosmetic purposes. I have a series of linked incisions that run from my left armpit to my right. In preparation for TG, which we are hosting for 7, I hired a house cleaner to get the place tidy, ordered the turkey, planned the menu, called the butcher and deli that will supply us with sides, made the shopping list, and, earlier today, DID the food shopping. A few minutes ago, my wife says to me, about something that needed to come in to the house from the garage, "well, you old have gotten it." I felt like I had been slapped. Am I 0verreacting?

What imaging tests do doctors use to monitor metastatic breast cancer?

I’ve had metastatic breast cancer since 2015. Originally it showed up in my bones, but eventually spread to my lungs. What method of diagnostic imaging does your doctor use? -During all this time, my doctor has been ordering CT scans with contrast of my chest and pelvis, along with a nuclear bone scan. Not to be confused with a DEXA scan. -It was only in July that she ordered a PET scan, after I questioned her again. The PET scan picked up the lymph node lump on my right side, that was not visible on the CT scan. This is making me wonder if a PET scan is better than the two other tests combined.
