How do I cope with breast cancer diagnosis and treatment?

I was told I had DCIS stage 0 Er/Hr positive. I had a lumpectomy done on June 4th that showed I in fact had Invasive ductal carcinoma stage one. Luckily as far as tests have shown, no lymph nodes showed any cancer. I didn't have chemo but am told I have to have 20 rounds of radiation followed by estrogen blocker therapy for 5 years. How do I still not go crazy? I was told "oh you'll be fine" and "it happens sometimes." No one has asked how I felt, what I needed. I've been left alone, made feel like Im a burden and cussed out for being sickand call lazy. Does it get any better? Is it worth all that I go thru? Can someone just please care?

Just need to vent somewhere….the fatigue is literally wearing me out, mentally! I feel like I should be able to do more but some days I just can’t. I’m about a year and a half into anastrozole.

Should I do radiation or just take pills after refusing second DCIS surgery?

I have DCIS O positive,I just had a lumpectomy, the reviewed it under the microscope, and said they want to do another surgery. I refused, so they said sine you refused, a second surgery, when you go radiation, we're going to do the whole left breast, instead of targeting the exact spot where we removed the mass, what should I do, should I just take the pill for five years, or do the radiation and the pill, I'm so confused

I don’t know how to properly store the new formulation of Kisquali. The packaging is different I bought a medical insulated bag and ice packs from Amazon but I’m afraid of over chilling it? Can anyone make any recommendations for me? On top of MBC who needs to worry about this. lol.

Should I choose 1 week or 3 week radiation for breast cancer?

1 week vs 3 weeks of radiation??? Hi! I have stage 1 A left sided invasive ductal carcinoma HR/PR +, Her2- with no lymph node involvement. One month ago I had a lumpectomy with bilateral breast reduction. Oncotype score low, genetic testing was negative so no chemo needed. I recently met with the radiation oncologist and was given the option of 1 week (5fractions) vs 3 weeks (16 fractions). It would be the same dosage of radiation for both treatments. I was told efficacy and side effects are the same for both treatments. I don’t know which route to go. I am leaning toward one week (just get it over with), but have sensitive skin and not sure if all that radiation in one week will have a worse outcome for me rather than spreading over three weeks. Also concerned about my heart and fatigue. Has anyone had experience with 1 week radiation treatment? Do you recommend rather than 3 weeks? I know everyone is different, but just looking for people’s experiences/thoughts. Thanks!!!
