Has anyone done Zometa infusions with long-term anastrozole?

I am on anastrozole for 10 years and my oncologist suggest zometa infusions for the next 10 years as well. Is this the case for anyone else?

Why am I having severe pain on Tamoxifen?

I quit taking my Tamoxifen I had small tumor hormone positive low score I had lumpectomy and radiation treatment im 44 so they want me to start menopause since thats what my cancer feeds on but I cant take the pain it just hurts so much I think im taking like 20 mg it just makes me hurt to my very bones my joints and I have never felt anything like it also my grandfather died from pulmonary embolism and that is exactly what Tamoxifen warns u for side effect that can happen as well as ovarian cancer and uterine cancer and I guess I just am wondering like I thought I got out my cancer like why do I need to continue to take this for five years it takes away my sex drive I can barely move my eye sight is getting worse my teeth are breaking like what the hell is happening to me and how come I have to take the same amount as other high risk recurrence also was wondering if there are any women who never have gotten a recurrence is there such a thing? Or is it for sure we are going to get it back once we got it . .. Thanks.

How long should you wait for breast implant surgery after mastectomy?

I've completed my expander fills and am ready to schedule the implant exchange surgery. I've read that it should be a minimum of three months from my bilateral mastectomy. Is that what others have been told?

How do you manage side effects from CDK4/6 inhibitors like Verzenio?

I'm taking Verzenio (abemaciclib) as targeted therapy for my early-stage breast cancer. My oncologist explained that it works by blocking CDK4/6 proteins that cancer cells need to divide. I'm using it after surgery to help reduce the risk of cancer returning. I've been dealing with some challenging side effects lately, including severe back pain, diarrhea, and significant hair loss. I have an appointment with my oncology team tomorrow to discuss these symptoms. What does bolus do during radiation and will it cause skin damage?

A bolus with radiation?? I've had radiation twice before on the right side and of course it returned on the left side! I just started radiation on the left and they used a bolus?? Nobody told me ahead of time they were going to use this and I'm furious!! I can't stand it when they just "DO" something to me without telling me!! I knew it was to make it stronger but I'm wondering how much stronger?? I've been very fortunate that the right side never got the blisters or peeling skin ...I'm guessing this is probably going to happen using bolus?? If you had a bolus used how bad was it?

What's it like living with Enhertu for HER2+ breast cancer?

I have advanced HER2-positive breast cancer and have been receiving trastuzumab. Why am I getting diverticulitis during chemo?

Hello… I’m new here. I have IDC stage II, Grade 3, Oncotype score 35. DMX with reconstruction. I started the Red Devil chemo 2 weeks ago but trying to understand why I’m not on TC. Theo days after my DMX I ended up in the hospital with my first ever diverticulitis attack. I had my second attack last week and was in the ER again. I’m hoping there is someone else that can share similar experience because I’m scared to continue my chemo regime this Thursday because diverticulitis is so painful. I felt like I was in labor both times. 😢

Is Zometa infusion safe? Side effects and concerns

They want me to do Zometa infusions every 6 months has anyone done this treatment I am concerned about the side effects loosing teeth holes in jaw bone loosing hair. I am up in the air about this

What side effects does Kisqali cause with fatigue?

I am taking letrozole and kisqali. I started another 3 week round on kisqali and feel very fatigued and shaky. Anyone else have these or other symptoms?

Has anyone tried palliative care alongside treatment?

Palliative anyone?? I decided to give palliative a call and see what they can do for me. I'm curious if anyone has used/added palliative care to their treatment.
