9 days agoWeek 2 of radiation,15 days to go. I seem to have the rhythm now. Side effects kicking in a little more now. Fatigue is kicking my butt, and some joint pain. Feeling pretty good though. Will be very happy when this is all over. Praying for everyone that God touches your body and mind. Don't give up, there is a light at the end of this.

During week 2 of radiation treatment, it's common to experience increasing fatigue and some joint discomfort as the body responds to the cumulative effects of daily treatments. Many patients in prostate cancer treatment find that fatigue becomes more noticeable around this time, and maintaining energy levels can become challenging - gentle exercise, proper rest, and staying hydrated often help manage these effects.

9 days agoThat's exactly right about the fatigue and joint discomfort being normal around week 2 - I found it helpful to also mention these side effects to my radiation team since they sometimes have specific tips for managing them during your particular treatment schedule.

a day agoI didn't notice the fatigue until well after radiation. Its the hormone therapy that has sapped a bit of my juice. I counteract that with weightlifting and cardio and a determination to win (At pretty much everything) hope it helps. Mindset is key.
