Treatment delays can feel incredibly frustrating and scary, especially when waiting for important appointments and referrals. It's completely understandable to feel anxious when communication breaks down between medical offices. Consider calling your oncology team directly to ask about the timeline for starting treatment, and don't hesitate to follow up with the referral office about scheduling - sometimes being a bit persistent helps move things along faster.
