a month agoI have finished my 7th infusion so now I have only 5 more to go!! So happy I'm on the down slope of this..I've had different side effects with all the injections each month. Some I've figured out how to deal w holistically some I just have to sit and ride out the exhaustion. I had my PET scan done because it was my half way point and it detected no new cancers and all my organs looked great. I have been very fortunate to my doctors keeping an eye out and being so skilled to remove all the cancer. My family was so relieved to hear the awesome news they can all breathe a little easier now. My doctor was Dr. Davidson up here at Northside hospital in Atlanta. I am also being looked at by Dr. Song head and neck specialist and Dr. Gill in Cumming GA who has been walking me through all these infusions.

a month agoWhat wonderful news about your scan results showing no new cancer! Managing side effects during treatment can be challenging, and it sounds like you've developed some helpful strategies along the way. Many patients find that different approaches work for different symptoms - some respond well to holistic methods while others require simply resting through the tougher moments like fatigue. Having such an attentive medical team makes a real difference in navigating this journey.
