How can exercise help ovarian cancer survivors stay healthy?
Community Member
23 days agoI was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2008, and I've been reading about how personalized exercise programs can help reduce recurrence risk and improve quality of life for long-term survivors like me. The research shows that tracking daily energy levels and using tailored fitness routines can make a real difference, even years after treatment. I'm interested in tools to monitor my progress and create a sustainable exercise routine that fits my survivor journey. I'd love to hear from other long-term ovarian cancer survivors about your experiences with staying active: • What types of exercise or movement have worked best for you as a survivor? • Have you found any helpful tools or methods for tracking your energy levels and adjusting your activity accordingly? What are treatment options for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer?
Community Member
3 months agoI have platinum-resistant ovarian cancer and recently came across information about the MYTHIC trial results. This study tested a combination of two drugs (zedoresertib and lunresertib) for patients like me whose cancer no longer responds to platinum-based chemotherapy. The trial showed promising response rates, especially for patients with CCNE1 amplification, and the FDA has given it fast track designation. I'm encouraged to see research focusing on our specific situation since treatment options can feel limited after platinum resistance develops. I'd love to connect with others who have platinum-resistant ovarian cancer to hear about your experiences. • What treatment options have you explored after platinum resistance? • How do you stay hopeful while navigating this stage of treatment?
