14 hours ago53, Caucasian female with a 12mm x 15.9mm mass at the head of my pancreas causing the duct to be dilated and obstructed. This was found after an acute pancreatitis episode where the hospital staff was attempting to prove my gallbladder was causing symptoms. I had a biopsy, they found "Adenocarcinoma, mildly differentiated" on February 4th, 2026. I had a celiac block done on Feb. 6th
I have had a few barriers to getting chemo started, I have an open wound from a surgical procedure from Feb. 4th, and just had my first treatment on Thursday Feb. 26th. I thought I was managing chemo side effects fairly well, but am struggling with how terribly my intestines feel. Anything I eat feels like I have swallowed glass. Im not having diarrhea or vomiting but my guts hurt, even though I have a pain block.
