Is it wrong to want dignity with stage 4 pancreatic cancer?

Help....stage 4 pancreatic cancer , lungs liver lymph nodes and bones,,,, just want to be done with being sick, is it wrong to want to die with dignity,, without having to have a nurse wipe my rear when I can not get up to go use the rest room???I wish you all the best luck but I think it's time I go on to the next life the way I want to go

I was diagnosed July 27th my pancreatic cancer is now in my liver lungs lymph nodes and bones, is it wrong for me to want to die with dignity, I had the nerve block done twice but I just can't handle this sickness...Drs. did another ct scan and found my pancreas has not changed and some of the spots on my liver have gotten smaller, but so has my will to live. I don't eat at all, no hunger. Diabetic......just want it done

How to prevent bile duct stent blockage after infection?

I have bile duct stent implanted 3 months ago. Now, I had infection due to blockage in the stent. So, I had another ERCP to clear the blockage and replace the stent. Does anyone experience the similar situation? And how to prevent future blockage?

How has the iLet bionic pancreas helped with blood sugar control?

I started using the iLet bionic pancreas and I must admit that it has helped control my blood sugar immensely. I was using the Omnipod which was also good but I had to carb count so my control was variable. My endocrinologist suggested the iLet and I am glad he did. It is covered by Medicare but most importantly I no longer have high highs and very few low lows.

Are clinical trials worth it for stage 4 pancreatic cancer?

I was just told I have stage 4 pancreatic cancer. They told me without treatment I have 6 months and with treatment 1.5 years. I might make it longer because they said I’m young (69) hah and healthy. What’s everyone think of clinical trials? We’re not curing this cancer and I guess the goal is to control it as long as possible. I’m set to collect a nice social security in January and planned on living an easy life after decades of sacrifice haha Venting a little. What’s everyone think of clinical trials. My doctor likes the idea and so does AI But seem like a shot in the dark to me?
