Is discomfort after PICC line insertion normal?

I just had a PICC line inserted yesterday in preparation for chemo starting Tuesday. I'm very uncomfortable, hard to find a comfortable position for my arm. Is this normal?

How can I manage weakness and fatigue after chemo?

One more chemo treatment for now. Titrating off prednisone and then possibly more Keytruda. Can't get over how weak I am feeling. I am also dealing with Afib right now. Looking forward to what things are like after chemo.

What helps neuropathy from Keytruda without brain fog?

Does anyone have suggestions about what helps the neuropathy? I am on Keytruda for the next year and it contributes to the neuropathy. Do not want too do gabapentin or drugs that make you foggy.

How sick will chemo and immunotherapy make me?

Hi, I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometrial cancer in February of 2025. I was diagnosed through a D & C. I had surgery on April 14 and finished 25 rounds of radiation the first week of August 2025. I started experiencing terrible abdominal pain in July of this year that was mostly ignored by by primary dr. I had a CT scan on sept 25th and I found out the cancer was back and had spread. There is now a mass on the vaginal cuff and 3 additional tumors in the peritoneal cavity. I start chemo and immunotherapy on 0ct 28th. Im a widow and live alone. Im absolutely terrified. How sick will I get? Will I be able to take care of myself and keep up my house? Im already extremely fatigued. The idea of doing this alone a second time just feels insurmountable.

How do I manage fear with chemo almost done?

I'm just scared! 2 more chemo treatments left. Because of severe joint pain I was put on a high dose of Prednisone which means my Keytruda has been withheld until I titrate off. My taper ends in Feb 2027 so that means months of no immunotherapy. Also, I would love to lesson the neuropathy in my feet. I have places to go and people to see, not ready to give up.

Why am I so weak after chemo and radiation?

after chemo and radiation i am extremely weak, I can't even use fingernail clippers because I can't pinch hard enough to clip. My legs and arms are weak too. My legs are the worst - if I fall down i cannot get up which is not a good thing. I am 73 but before everything I could do things. I am wondering if anyone has suggestions or do you think I should contact my oncologist for his recommendation? Thank you. I cannot afford a gym membership.

Is 8 weeks too long to wait for cancer treatment?

Hi I had surgery 8/6 total hysterectomy with lymph node dissection for endometrial high grade serous ca. it’s stage 2 as in was also in the lining of the cervex. I see the oncologist 9/29 for the first time since surgery. It will be almost 8 weeks post op. Is this too long to wait for treatment since it’s an aggressive cancer? I’m concerned. What comes after Keytruda infusions for 24 months?

I haven't posted in a while but I have finished chemo and the 25 radiation treatments, yea me! I will be receiving Keytruda infusions for 24 months. After that i have no clue.All in all I've had more fun in my life but I've made it this far

How can I treat chemo-induced neuropathy naturally?

My chemo went extremely well with no hiccups,however now that I finished chemo almost 3 months ago I have terrible neuropathy in my feet. I was prescribed cymbalta but it made me feel kind of foggy like I was all there so I stopped. Does anyone know how to treat chemo induced neuropathy naturally 🤔?
