How to cope with severe chemo side effects before final treatment?

I have had the suckiest last few weeks, 1 good thing, one more chemo on the 18th. But chemo has been kicking my butt big time. The exhaustion, lack of appetite, randon neuropathy, after my 4th chemo I passed out at home, ER diagnosed dehydration, not eating etc. I have been incontinent since 2nd chemo which sucks big time. Then on Sunday diarrhea came to visit, I will spare details but say I had no control was true. Ended up back in ER last night, diagnosed with mild Colitis, good times. I just want to survive this last chemo. Then comes 25 radiation treatments. I want to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just want normal, whatever my normal will be, just so over the turmoil.

How do I cope with vaginal dilation after pelvic radiation as a single woman?

I’m having pelvic radiation for recurrence of endometrial cancer to the vaginal cuff. I am a single 73 year old Christian and I live a make a sacrifice and live a celibate life because of that. I am so dreading the prescribed vaginal dilation to prevent vaginal stenosis. One doctor said it was more for those sexually active but it’s also to prevent vagina from sticking together and making follow up pelvic exams impossible or uncomfortable. Is anyone else as horrified as I am about this? It seems humiliating and maybe it will be painful and time consuming. Can anyone help me face this? I’ll be tempted to be noncompliant but probably that’s not a good idea. I can hardly stand thinking about it. I am praying God will protect my vagina so I don’t have to do it a lot.

Hello. I have uterine cancer mets to my lung. I had a hysterectomy in 2018, a recurrence in 2020 with internal and external radiation. I was advised of the lung metastasis in march 2026 and am currently having chemo. I am stage 3. I was wondering if anyone in this group has experienced lung mets.
