What do I do when stage 4 endometrial cancer stops responding to treatment?

I was diagnosed in January 2025 with stage 4 endometrial cancer at 53. Always healthy and exercised regularly. I knew something was wrong for years. They attributed my enlarged uterus to fibroids. Well 6 chemo treatments later, no option for surgery after multiple opinions, and now on immunotherapy. My CA125 went way down to normal levels after chemo but now they're creeping back up and I'm feeling worse and worse. I changed oncologist in September and am happy with him. I pray and have faith but I am scared. It's not even a year and I feel emotionally exhausted not to mention physically wiped out. My fear is to go to the ER and never leave. What's even scarier is that the general Healthcare in my area is terrible. I'm thankful my oncologist figured out I had a bile duct blockage and referred me to a specialist not in the area back in September. I'm now experiencing stomach distension and I'm praying another treatment option is for that will work and save my life.

How can I find comfort and peace when facing end of life?

Can someone help me with this . For my life is ending and I have only one wish. To be comfortable when I die.

Scared to continue chemo after heart attack - how to feel safe?

Hi I'm was diagnosed with stage 3C2 endometrial cancer in August. I had 1 round of chemo and the side effects were horrible. I had significant bone pain and horrendous neuropathy into the following week. When I called to tell them they said I was having a panic attack. But actually I was having a heart attack. Thank God my heart has no damage. And although they changed my chemo meds to abraxane I'm scared to go back. I need to get the port but I'm scared of that too. Something bad happened before chemo that morning but they ignored me and gave me chemo anyway and never told my doctor. So now I have to go back to chemo but I dont feel safe there. I don't know what to do.

Has anyone experienced lung nodules after completing cancer treatment?

Hello Everyone, I thought I was done with all my treatments; I had finished my total hysterectomy surgery, chemo, then external, and internal brachytherapy treatments on August 12th. My hair is just barely growing back, very dark brown with white (I’ve been blonde my entire life), I had a follow-up CAT scan on September 19th. Sadly, they found numerous modules in both lungs. We are devastated. The nodules were not there in February. I am scheduled for a PET scan next on October 14th to help give a definitive diagnosis. Other than an infection (no symptoms), it can only mean metastasis. Has this happened to anyone? It is so very hard not to think the worst. We’re grabbing at straws…

Is weight loss after endometrial stromal sarcoma surgery normal?

Hi my name is Hattie Breedlove,,I had endometrial stromal sarcoma in 2000 I had surgery in June of that year,,,in 2024 I had a mass removed from my pelvic it was endometrial stromal sarcoma a small amount did not spread .In may of this year I had a colonoscopy it came back non cancerous,,I've lost 20 pounds not knowing if it's from the surgery or from the medications I'm consuming..but it doesn't sit well with me ..but I won't complain just get a second opinion

Do I need chemo or radiation after hysterectomy for stage 1 endometrial cancer?

If a person has stage 1 grade 1a endometrial cancer and a small tumor within the uterine wall do I need chemo or radiation after a full historectomy and 3 clean lymph nodes removed. No sign of spread.
