How long does it take to schedule imaging and hysterectomy after referral?

How long does it usually take an oncologist’s office to schedule further imaging and a hysterectomy? They received my referral today.

How long does fatigue last after radiation and do others experience vaginal narrowing?

2 years after the surgery and ended Radiation in December 2024. Has anyone experienced vaginal narrowing also how have you been feeling with the fatigue after so long of a Time?

Has anyone had a spike protein test done?

How exhausted will I feel after each chemo treatment?

had my second chemo on Thursday, felt good yesterday, did some laundry all in all normal day. Today I ate breakfast, took a shower, dressed and I am exhausted- if this is 2 then 3 must be awful. But 2 down 4 to go.

When do you start feeling better after your first chemo treatment?

Had my 1st Chemo 11 days ago. When do you start feeling better? Still extremely tired, gassy, and feel like a mack truck hit me.

How to manage incontinence during chemo treatments?

today was Chemo #2 went smoothly, no nausea so far which is great. Unfortunately I am one of the women who after total hysterectomy develop incontinence. I am starting Vesicare which will hopefully help. Now you'd think that someone with incontinence would have brains enough to plan ahead for floods. Did I? Did my brain ever say hey you are going to get huge bags of liquids pumped into your veins, no. I did have brains enough to take 2 pair undies and another pair of pants. But before the day was done everything, EVERYTHING, was drenched. I'm embarrassed, the nurses were so kind and actually if anyone else in the room noticed I think they were thinking about their own issues. So I am hoping the Vesicare helps and I have 2 other things my doctor wants me to try. Kegels and bladder training. Good times. So if your had a bad say remember you are not alone. We will beat this. And hopefully I will stop peeing all over. All I know is it's a good thing I have a lot of underwear. Hope your day was better than mine.

Why am I having bathroom accidents during cancer treatment?

Had my third out of six treatments on Monday. Feel great. Last nite could not make it to the bathroom on time. The urge to go was so strong and went on the floor. Feel so bad about myself.

Does chemo get worse with each infusion or was my first one easier?

I have "another" dumb question - infusions #1 some nausea, tired, I'm thinking hey not so bad. But then I reada few other posts and people talking about 2nd and 3rd and how bad they felt . Was i doing a rainbow and puppies moment when I thought it would be the same way each time?

When will my hair fall out from chemo and how can I cope?

had a visit with my oncologist yesterday for treatment assessment. Next chemo is the 26th. Other than tired, incontinence and random constipation it wasn't bad. But yesterday he told me by next weekend my hair will start falling out and eventually my eyebrows, eyelashes and any hair anywhere will be gone. This freaks me more than chemo. I have gotten some cute coverings and I realize it will grow back but this truly states to the world that I have cancer. I have told close friends and family but not others. Please give me tips to make this easier
