How do you cope with vulvar cancer diagnosis after years of chronic illness?

I was just diagnosed with Vulvar Cancer after battling over 40 years with LS and Crohn's. Now Im facing a partial Vulvar removal. I already had sections of bowel removed for a bowel blockage back in my 20s. I am 59 and feeling so scared. The biopsy was traumatic enough. Wish I had been under for that. Im reading others situations and feeling great empathy. Big hugs to all you warriors.

What to expect starting chemo again after radiation didn't work?

Hi everyone im stacey I was diagnosed with 4a stage squamous cell carcinoma vulvar cancer April 22nd. Ive gone through radiation and chemotherapy . Last day was aug 8 th.it really did nothing for me. Then I went to moffitt cancer center in Tampa for second opinion Now im starting chemo again .I got a port put in . Ill loose my hair with this one. If anyone needs help with hotel stays American cancer society helps pay your room costs.

How can I cope with a radical vulvarectomy for melanoma?

I was dx with melanoma vulvar cancer a few months ago. Went through 2 immunotherapy rounds and on my mri of pelvis nothing has changed. It hasn’t gotten worse but hasn’t gotten better. I am now meeting with an oncology surgeon to have a radical vulvarectomy. Have any of you had similar experience and how did you not feel like a freak post surgery?
