8 days agoI was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma cancer stage 2 I have done 2 treatments of cemo and going in for the 3rd round, l just wondering if the cemo will affect the rods and metal hardware in my back and face or should I just not let this run through my head??

8 days agoIt's completely understandable to have concerns about how chemotherapy might interact with metal hardware in your body. The good news is that chemotherapy medications typically don't react with or damage metal implants like rods, screws, or plates. These concerns are worth discussing with your oncology team during your next appointment, as they can provide specific reassurance based on your treatment plan and medical history.

8 days agoI completely agree - chemo doesn't typically affect metal hardware, and it might also be worth mentioning your concerns to your care team so they can note it in your chart and ease your mind for future treatments too.
