Hello everyone. I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. I had 6 rounds of chemo that left me with really bad neuropathy. I have trouble walking. I have surgery next week. If you have had a hysterectomy or have ovarian cancer, please reach out to me. Thank you. God bless you all.

Neuropathy after chemotherapy is a common challenge that many community members have faced, and there are various approaches people have shared for managing walking difficulties and nerve pain. The upcoming surgery represents an important step in the treatment journey, and connecting with others who have walked similar paths can provide valuable support and practical tips. Wishing strength for the procedure next week, and hoping this community can offer the connection and shared experiences that help during this time.

I haven’t had a hysterectomy or ovarian cancer but I do have chemo-induced neuropathy from breast cancer treatment. It started about 2 weeks after my last chemo treatment and still continues today(2 yrs). I have it in my fingertips and feet. I’ve tried lots of different things to alleviate it but nothing has completely eliminated it. I’m trying Nervive (alpha lipoic acid) now and it does help some. I would like to try acupuncture as I’ve heard from many who have had success with it but my insurance only covers it for back pain and I can’t afford it out of pocket. I hope you can find some relief soon. If you do, please share.

Neuropathy is the worst and the pain sometimes is unbearable. Just try to hang in there. I know it’s easier said than done, but if something that we have to deal with, I will keep you in my prayers. Blessings 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
