Why won't my oncologist investigate my pain complaints as a Black patient?

6 days agoWhy is it as an African-American? When I keep telling my Oncologist office about my body pain level being a level 8, or other issues like numbness. They just keeping saying "ok" and write it in my chart. But there's no movement to investigate.

Consider advocating for yourself by asking specific questions about next steps, requesting a second opinion, or seeking support from patient advocacy services at your treatment center to ensure your concerns receive the thorough evaluation they warrant.
