a year agoI'm supposed to start immunotherapy where the medicine injects directly into my bladder. I'm a bit nervous. This is my second bout with cancer.
Accepted Answer
It's completely natural to feel nervous about starting a new treatment, especially when facing cancer for the second time. Intravesical immunotherapy is a well-established treatment that many bladder cancer patients have successfully undergone, and connecting with others in this community who have been through similar experiences might help ease some of those pre-treatment jitters.

a year agoI received a diagnosis of bladder cancer just a few months ago. We are observing and treating it by cystoscopy. I'm going to ask my oncologist if I can do it by a simple injection? Don't let it get you down; I have had basal cell, squamous cell, prostate, and renal cell cancer, and am currently fighting metastatic renal cell and bladder cancer. I have been told I am terminal, but my life is still pretty good. ( My long-term plan is to die of something else first just to prove them wrong.)

I have had chemo for six weeds one a week now I have got to have six more over the next six months. Iām try so hard to be a trooper like my parents was. They both died of cancer and I took care of both. Iām so happy to be able to say that I loved them so much. Then my precious sweet husband that always had my back passed away. I have pity parties most days.
