Is eye irritation common after bladder cancer treatment?

2 months agoHello. Had my second intravesel Gem/Dox tx yesterday for T1 hg bladder ca. woke up with very scratchy eye. Pain in eye (dull) and like there is something in it. Is that common? Lauren

2 months agoEye irritation can sometimes occur as a side effect of intravesical chemotherapy treatments, though it's less commonly discussed than urinary symptoms. a month agoDry eye is common. Use single dose eye tears. It helps.
