How long can you live with bladder cancer without treatment?

Hello, I just had TURB on Oct. 8 this year. I have yet to know what stage but it is inside the wall of the bladder. I go for a bone scan on 17th and then a pet scan at some point. Has anyone been told how long if you do not do chemo and radiation. My husband spent 5 days a week in chemo, my mother did chemo too. Not a good outcome for either. Immunotherapy may be an option but not if I have to suffer through it for months. I'm 65 and have had a good life. Would rather spend my time outside a doctor's office. Oncologist wants to take my bladder. I just don't think I can have a bag the rest of my life.

While survival timelines vary greatly from person to person based on many individual factors that only medical professionals can assess, these feelings about treatment decisions are completely understandable given past experiences with loved ones. Many community members have faced similar difficult choices about balancing quality of life with treatment options, and there's no single right answer that works for everyone. Consider discussing all concerns openly with the medical team, as they may have insights about newer approaches or supportive care options that could help inform this personal decision.

Mentioned by the oncologist and from what I've read that is the usual route they take for BC. Also take lymph nodes and anything surrounding the bladder out. No chemo for me. I'm praying that God heals me but I won't do chemo. I've seen too many family members go through it suffered for what they prayed would work and it didnt.

The great news is that C has not spread to the bones. I'm so thankful for that.

I would start going through previous posts by others in this group because there are charts that indicate dosages of ivermectin and fenbendazole along with other beneficial foods, herbs, and supplements that will help. Also there are many helpful videos on YouTube. But the sooner you start taking ivermectin and or fenbendazole/mebendazole the better your chances to beat this.

I was a bit shocked at how quickly they told me that bladder removal was required. 2 years in and it has not been removed( and won’t be if I have anything to say about this). The chemo, urology treatments and immunotherapy are working. These drugs and treatments are working for me. Trust in the science and stay strong. I think the doctors are instructed to give us a worst case scenario, just in case. Some people can’t handle the drugs… I admit, chemo sucked but it was a lot better than dying! I’m lucky that the immunotherapy has no side effects… yet. Day at a time, folks. Bless you all

I'm hoping immunotherapy will do the trick. I start it 31st. Took a while for them to get me in there after I didnt want chemo but I'm praying it works and works quick since cancer has already spread in just 2 months. Glad to hear you have done well with it.
