16 hours agoI went in for a physical and discussed symptoms for what we thought and still think is Gyno issues but a tumor was discovered in my bladder during some testing. I had a TURBT in October, told I have HG Ta NMIBC November 6th and am now on round 2 of BCG or the maintenance phase of treatment. Wonder who else is going through BCG treatment and how you’ll are holding up. I’m a ball of nerves!

11 hours agoMany people in this community are navigating BCG treatments and understand how nerve-wracking this journey can be. The maintenance phase brings its own set of challenges, and it's completely natural to feel anxious during this time. Consider sharing more about your specific concerns or side effects - others here who have walked similar paths often have helpful insights about managing both the physical and emotional aspects of BCG treatment.

6 hours agoThanks Murray. I do my initial 6 weeks after my TURBT and then waited 2.5 months, had a cystoscopy that only showed a red patch we are watching and have done my first maintenance phase of BCG. I’ll do a cystoscopy every 3 months and then pending results will depend on my next course of action. Being it was HG to begin with is what worries me! Thankful it’s NMIBC but still so incredibly nervous of it reoccurring! How are others holding up mentally!? Anyone else feel like the cancer diagnosis scares others away!? I had people come out of the woodwork at first and now that the initial phase is over they seem to disappear. It now feels like the support I had is gone! This is a long process! Sorry vent over!
