Does breast cancer treatment cause severe diarrhea?

Hello, I wanted to see if anyone else who has been treated or is currently being treated for breast cancer has experienced explosive, uncontrollable, watery diarrhea. It hits me 12 to 16 times a day in a 24 hour period, day & night. Over the counter and prescription antidiarrheal meds don’t touch it. I’ve lost 20 lbs in less than a month. I’ve had 2 ER visits since 7/19 the first lead to 4 nights in the hospital. I’ve had 2 CT scans, 2 stool specimens checks, 2 chest X-rays all in less than 2 weeks of each other and the doctors only tell me they see mild colitis but won’t treat it until I see a gastroenterologist. I don’t have an appt with a gastro doctor until 8/31. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this severe issue with diarrhea and if so what finally helped to control it. Prayers for all, Lisa
