This type of pain can happen after lymph node removal and you're not alone in experiencing it. Many community members have shared similar concerns about discomfort in their arm, hand, and wrist following surgery. It would be helpful to mention this to your medical team, as they can evaluate what might be causing the pain and suggest appropriate ways to manage it. Have others in the community found specific strategies that helped with post-surgical arm and hand discomfort?

Yes. I get numb arm or tingly arm alot. Haven’t found too much to combat it. I try to take it easy on that arm when carrying or lifting and wear a compression sleeve if I’m doing too much lifting or traveling for long periods of time.

You’ll have issues on that side for the rest of your life. PT regularly really helps. They can break those rope things that pull and cause pain! It’s actually kind of amazing when you feel instant relief;)
