Do cryotherapy gloves and socks help during chemo?

I used ice packs during chemo/immunotherapy in 2018 for stage 4 NSCLC. No neuropathy to date. My PA also suggested alpha lipoic acid during treatment.

My wife was told medical grade compression gloves and socks will do the same as the cold therapy. We are going to try the compression socks and gloves We'll see if it works. She just started chemo.

I used the ice gloves/booties during my 4 doses of TC chemo, every 21 days. I finished Oct 1st and have not had any issues with neuropathy so far…

Thanks for your response. I have 3 more red devil & then 4 doses of TC & plan to use the gloves & booties.
