Dealing with severe breast pain can be incredibly challenging, especially when finding effective pain management feels difficult. Many community members have shared similar experiences with pain that doesn't respond well to over-the-counter options, and it's important to keep working with healthcare providers to explore different pain management approaches that might include physical therapy, topical treatments, or other prescription alternatives. Consider asking about seeing a pain specialist or discussing your specific pain patterns in detail with your oncology team, as they may have additional strategies to help improve your comfort and quality of life.

6 months agoSo far the breast pain I have been able to manage mine with Cannabis ( in a legal state), wild lettuce extract, and dandelion oil baths. If you look in the breastfeeding area they have cold/hot compress made for the breast that also helps. Between all of that, I still have nights when I have to take a Norco.

5 months agoHi Trudy, If your state is legal for cannabis, try some. You can visit one and tell them exactly what you want out of whatever you get. I had never in my life tried anything until I got cancer a few years ago. They have tinctures and gummies to help with pain, anxiety, and sleep. They have this "paste" that you only use a rice size amount, and it helps. Some of it is trial and error until you find what works for you. What we go through is painful, and what these doctors tell you to take just doesn't cut it. I am fortunate that my team has given me a few meds stronger than Tylenol and ibuprofen, which does nothing. Hopefully, your pain will subside soon. Because it just totally sucks. We are here for you ❤️
