Anyone experience fevers with kisqali. Just finished my first month during which my doctor stopped and restarted it a few times due to side effects. I had chills and aches after dinner 2 days in a row accompanied by a fever of at least 100.4 for at least 4 days. No other symptoms. Meeting with my oncologist tomorrow to have bloodwork done as this is my off week. Hoping to just power through the next month so that my body has a chance to adjust. Not looking to delay this any longer. 35 more months to go on this drug. 😜

Fever and chills can be concerning side effects that some patients experience with Kisqali, and it sounds like discussing this with your oncologist is exactly the right step. Many in the breast cancer community have found that tracking symptoms and working closely with their medical team helps manage side effects effectively. Hopefully your bloodwork provides helpful information and your care team can offer guidance on the best path forward for your treatment plan.

Just started Kisqali 2 weeks ago - at the lowest dose I have stage 4 metastatic cancer ER+, PR + HR2-low. Lymph nodes and bone spread to sacrum and low back. The listed side effects are scary. Especially possible heart issues as I have heart failure and AFIB. Also, lung issues w/COPD & emphysema. But, getting frequent check ups Chest X-rays, monitor any increase in coughing. Only a little bit of constipation which is sooo much better than the explosive diarrhea I had on TruKpak and Evermolous. So hopeful although they told me the efficacy was only 6 -8 months.
