Seeking Help with Post-Surgery Pain

So, I'm three days out from a bilateral. Terrified to remove the compression bandage again due to sharp pain on my left. I'm guessing it's nerve pain. Hoping there is a way to get it calmed down. Any input to help would be welcomed.

Recovery from surgery can bring unexpected challenges, and sharp pain during bandage changes is something many others in this community have navigated. Connecting with your medical team about pain management options and techniques for gentle bandage removal can provide the specific guidance needed for your healing journey.

I was given gabapentin for first week to help with nerve pain. Also took Tylenol around the clock and Motrin too.

Nerve pain can last 3 to 6 months. I was given gabapentin for the first two weeks and I took Tylenol after those 2 weeks. I still feel some minor pain and my mastectomy was October 2024.
