6 months agoHey Tiffany - please don’t be sweetheart it’s always much better to get through than you are imagining - remember imagination of what’s gonna happen & what it’s gonna be like it’s always worse than the reality. Try to focus on a 2 weeks after the op point when you’ll be over the significant worst & you’ll be there in no time I promise. If you want to post here which bit you’re most frightened of I’ll try and offer tips cuz I had panic attacks etc so I do understand as I’ve been there but I feel loads better now.

6 months agoHi Tiffany. I understand your fear!! Originally I had 3 surgeries in less than 40 days. I have metastatic breast cancer. That was 4 years ago. Just had another surgery 2 weeks ago to remove 3 lymph nodes for biopsies! Surgeries are scary. Trust your surgeon…and if you don’t. Find a new one!!! Seriously! Think of this surgery as getting knowledge. Without it. There is a whole lot of unknowns. Once’s it’s done. You will have the info you need to move forward in your life…including treatments etc. Warrior on! You got this!!!! Godspeed and Love

6 months agoI’m right there with all of you on the scary part encountering my surgery on on the 11th. It’s good to know about how to be positive going into surgery. I am not really present but trying to be in reality, but I’m altered as time goes on. I will have a single mastectomy going flat. I have been on anastrozole with the intention of shrinking a larger Tumor that seems to stay the same but clinical exams say there’s a bit of a change. I have ILC.
