a month agoIs anyone taking Exemestane? How are you dealing with joint pain? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

a month agoJoint pain is a common side effect that many people experience with Exemestane, and connecting with others who understand this challenge can be really valuable. Consider discussing pain management strategies with your healthcare team, as they may suggest options like gentle exercise, physical therapy, or other approaches that work well alongside your treatment.

a month agoI am and yes I have joint pain. Seems to be worse at night for me. So far I have added Osteo Bi-Flex and it helps. I just take ibuprofen when needed. The main problem I am having is anxiety, stress, mood swings and depression. I’ve been on this drug since July of 2025. I switched from anastrozole to exemestane and it’s the same. Gonna talk to my oncologist again.

a month agoHi Susan Yes, I haven't been in it for 5 years now. Fir my hands and finger pain I am using compression gloves a few hours daily. Which have been very helpful. Walking helps with my hip and lower back pain Along with yoga. Cold makes my pain worse so I dress in layers. To help keep my muscles warm but have the ability to remove a layer when a hot flash comes along. Icy hot and a heating pad have been helpful as well

a month agoVoltran cream is helpful ( there is generic on Amazon). I also drink tart cherry juice (I get a concentrate on Amazon -take 2ounces in water). My oncologist is fine with it and there is a study saying it can help with bone pain. Also I take Cymbalta + glucosamine chondryton - also on oncologists recommendation. And keep moving. It’s essential in my opinion. Hope things improve for you
