What helps with mouth pain that makes throat feel like strep?

My oncologist prescribed something called Mary’s magic mouthwash. It has lidocaine, I’m sure some type of antibiotic and a steroid. Saved me from wasting away to nothing because I couldn’t eat or even swallow.

I'm back at the center getting IVs. They have set me up on a twice a week cycle of IVs. Sure it's time, but of it helps I'm so worth it. I lost 25 lbs first week of chemo, that's probably not healthy
