6 months agoI just had my savi scout placed in my breast. Lumpectomy on Wednesday Has anyone else had this procedure?
Accepted Answer
Many people in this community have experience with Savi Scout placement before their lumpectomy procedures. This localization technique helps surgeons precisely identify the area that needs to be removed during the procedure. Members here often share their experiences with different pre-surgical preparations, so hopefully others will chime in with their own Savi Scout experiences to help answer your question.

6 months agoI had this done. Just like getting a biopsy. It did not help my doctor get clear margins the first time.

5 months agoSo your second lumpectomy produced clear margins? Did you follow up with radiation? Hormones?

5 months agoI had two lumpectomies, then 16 radiations now on tamoxifen. Had cancer on my nose, surgery there. Then last week I had a seizure. I am so done with this crap.
