I was initially diagnosed with non-invasive DCIS in June had a lumpectomy in September and was upgraded to Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. I've had to readjust my whole thinking. I have a Bilateral Breast MRI in October. My radiation protocol had to be paused - I was to start in October. I am full of anxiety. They keep telling me this is normal. It is all new to me.

Feeling anxious after an unexpected diagnosis change is completely understandable - many people in this community have experienced similar emotional challenges when treatment plans shift. The uncertainty and need to readjust expectations can feel overwhelming, but connecting with others who've walked similar paths often helps process these feelings and find practical coping strategies.
