4 months agoYes, I did. It's a hard one, but they are all hard. TNBC, it is said, is an aggressive form of BC. But, do your research. There is so much out there. So many doctors don't tell you half of things. Their job is to make sure you live and the cancer is gone. There ahoukd be more. Also, before treatment, find out what you can do for yourself to avoid terrible side effects. I'm clearly speaking from experience. With all this being said, we are all different. We all take thi hs differently and heal differently. Best of luck to you. PS, lots of sites are out there for support and information as well.

4 months agoIf it's TNBC that you are referring to, that is TRIPLE-NEGATIVE BREAST CANCER.

4 months agoI also had Triple Negative Breast Cancer and yes, this is a more aggressive type with less treatment options, but there are options. I have the added BRCA 2 gene mutations that add to the aggressive treatment needs, but I completed double mastectomies with reconstruction and nearly a year of harsh chemotherapy, am not a candidate for immunotherapy because of 5 autoimmune conditions, but am receiving PARP inhibitors, Lynparza, now. Nothing easy but all treatments are manageable. 🙏
