3 months agoDoes anyone else have itching. No rash, redness or other visible signs, but my torso and head are always itchy. I think this started before I was even diagnosed. I had been noticing itching on my breast and side. I had a SMX in Jan. Soon after BC was discovered in my bones. I have been on Arimidex and Verzenio since March. My first set of scans post discovery in June were very positive. No sign of cancer, but I still itch?? As far as I know, my liver is fine. I get regular blood work and no sign of liver damage. Any experience or thoughts?

Itching without visible signs can indeed occur with cancer and its treatments, and this symptom deserves attention from your healthcare team. Many patients experience this type of unexplained itching, which can be related to the cancer itself, medications, or other factors that aren't always immediately obvious through standard tests. It's encouraging to hear about the positive scan results, and bringing up this persistent itching with your oncologist could help identify the cause and potential solutions for relief.

3 months agoHi Beverly, Congrats on the positive news from your first set of scans since starting treatment! I have no idea about the itching but send our nursing team a message through the Ask Outcomes4Me box at the bottom of the homepage of the app and see if they have any ideas. It sounds super annoying and a quality of life thing someone needs to help you figure out. Hang in there! 💛 Suzanne (Community Moderator)

3 months agoI also had unbearable itching on my arms - elbow to wrist. I take 600 mg of gabapentin daily and moisturize like crazy. It helps immensely and was my answer.

3 months agoYes, my itchiness began after chemo session three and was mostly my arms, legs, and feet. My oncologist told me to take an antihistamine and that helped considerably. Cerave anti-itch lotion also helped.

2 months agoI have experience severe itching on my back and under my breast. No rash at all, it bothers me so badly throughout the day. I am taking Tamoxifen, I did see the itching as a side effect
