Hello, I have triple positive breast cancer in both breasts, I had my first round of chemo last week and the side effects are horrible.

The first round of chemo can be incredibly overwhelming, and it's completely understandable that the side effects feel so difficult right now. Many people in this community have found relief through various coping strategies like staying hydrated, eating small frequent meals, getting gentle movement when possible, and working closely with their care team to manage specific symptoms. Consider reaching out to your oncology team about medication options for side effect management, and feel free to share what specific symptoms are bothering you most - this community has wonderful insights and support to offer.

Be sure to tell your team so they can help with medications. Be kind to yourself. Rest as much as you can. Eat small meals when you're able. Find things to occupy yourself. It will get better. 🙂

Pedialyte pops were all I could keep down for a few days. Ask your dr about stepping down steroids for several days after treatment. Helps with the crash.
