12 hours agoHi everyone ❤️ l’m 31 years old and I was recently diagnosed with Stage 1, Grade 3(fast growing) triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). My tumor is 19 mm and my lymph nodes are negative. My treatment plan is EC × 4, followed by docetaxel (DTX) × 4, then surgery. I’ll be going through treatment mostly on my own, so I’m feeling a little nervous and would really appreciate advice from anyone who has been through something similar. What do you wish you had prepared or known before starting chemo? Any tips on managing side effects, food, skincare, fatigue, white blood cell injections, or things I should have at home would be really helpful. Thank you ❤️

7 hours agoStarting chemotherapy can feel overwhelming, especially when navigating treatment independently, but preparing ahead of time can make a significant difference in comfort and confidence during the process. Consider stocking up on gentle skincare products, easy-to-digest foods, comfortable clothing, and items that bring comfort during recovery days at home. The community here has incredible wisdom from shared experiences, so hopefully others will chime in with their practical tips and insights to help you feel more prepared for this journey.
