6 months agoJust started kisqali this month. Was wondering what side effects folks have experienced. My mouth has some sensitivity so far. I am on week 2.

5 months agoHi. I started Kisqali 5 months ago. I had constipation issues and a few bumps in my mouth at the end of the month. Can’t sleep. Had a few leg cramps but they stopped. I am losing my hair though. Thinking on my head but I notice my eyebrows and lashes too. What stage are you? I am stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I felt fine and still feel fine. This is my second go around with cancer. First time was 1 cm did radiation and a lumpectomy. 10 yrs later here I am stage 4. Even had my last mammogram and ultra sound and was give an all clear, so boy was I surprised to be diagnosis end as stage 4.

5 months agoI’m stage 4 MBC diagnosed six months ago. I’ve been on Kisqali five months and Arimidex with almost no side effects. I have a bit of a rash/redness but nothing else. I’ve used coconut oil (from baking aisle) as a mouth rinse. It’s soothing and coats your GI tract plus it’s ok to swallow because it’s food grade. My white and red blood counts have dropped and are being watched, but that is expected with these meds. Far fewer problems with Kisqali than the side effects that regular IV chemo would cause.
