a year agoHas anyone felt like their breast cancer was from the Covid vaccine? I already know of 8 people who have had the same breast cancer I did, and we all had the same vaccine.
Accepted Answer
Current research has not established a link between COVID vaccines and breast cancer. While it's natural to look for patterns when facing a serious diagnosis, coincidences can feel meaningful even when they aren't causally related. Many factors influence breast cancer development, and discussing concerns with an oncologist can provide personalized insight based on individual medical history and the latest scientific evidence.

6 months agoHi did you by any chance have the Moderna shot?
Community Member
6 months agoYes, and the Surgeon General of Florida halted the use of Moderna and Pfizer as of December 2023.

6 months agoI Think this is so true too because after covid the breast cancer ratio increased specially in young women. And thats really strange.

6 months agoI have often wondered. One group did a in house survey by asking did they get the shot, what side then what side of the breast cancer and the ones who replied was all the same side of the shot. Then we have to realize that breast cancer has been around longer then covid vaccine but who knows.

6 months agoIt is certainly a valid research project- those of us who get checked every year then suddenly have a tumor appears within 1-2years of shots- Moderna also- with TNBC diagnosis

6 months agoI’m uncertain the validity of this. I did not have Moderna vaccine. I did have the vaccine. Also, everyone around me had a Covid vaccine- yet I’m the only person who has breast cancer. 🤷🏻♀️

6 months agoI wonder the same thing.... But for me in relation to how the radiation affected my body... After lumpectomy I had targeted Radiation. 5 days... I thought easy... But I have developed Radiation pneumonitis... Basically my lung is charred. Cancer is gone... But I am on HIGH doses of Prednisone and am seeing a critical care pulmonologist. I think there is more to this... I am very suspicious!

6 months agoPart of the problem may be that we were totally abandoned during the "covid crisis." Only covid mattered. Then when they got to the end of it our hospital sent out notices that said "you've been neglecting your care. Everyone who put off screenings during the crisis should come in and get those done." It was quite an infuriating to be rejected for necessary care and then be told it was our own fault for neglecting ourselves. Sorry I got a little off track there ranting about inability to get care. My point was that a lot of people had delayed screenings so it's possible that they would have seen our tumors sooner had they not blocked us from getting care.

6 months agoNo. Don’t be hysterical. . Everyone had one of the two Covid shots available.

6 months agoIf you google it, many different reports come up. One of the many I read said, "Doctors have identified a marked increase in rarer cancers and suspect the virus itself." My own surgeon said he believes we will see many more forms of cancers and illnesses within the next 5 years due to the vaccine and Covid. I, myself, had 3 vaccines, no history of cancer in my family, very healthy, only marker was my age (68). I had a lumpectomy, radiation, and now anastrozole for the next 5 years. My cancer is rare: neuroendocrine breast cancer. May God bless all of us as we navigate this disease.

6 months agoWhat Covid shot? Maker? I had Moderna
Community Member
6 months agoNo, this is not evidenced based, only opinion

6 months agoNo but I think this is a misconception due to the fact that people were not being screened during the pandemic and thinking it’s because of the vaccine 🤷♀️

6 months agoMy gynecologist died due to covid complications so I didnt get to go to my yearly checkups
Community Member
6 months agoYes, this is not evidence based, only my opinion. However, I continued with my mammography in 20, 21, and 22. In 22, 4 months after my mammography, I developed a tumor. There is no history of breast cancer in my family.

6 months agoStop! This is not helpful. Instead focus on poisons in our air, food sources, and toxic lifestyles.

6 months agoNothing is helpful, we can point fingers at different sources all we want. But it's not going to change anything.

6 months agoMonica M, you're so right. I was just curious and thru that out there. However, just my opinion, I think it was my covid shot. But I may never know for sure.

6 months agoJolene K. How long have you been taking Anastrozole? After my radiation treatments, my medical oncology doctor prescribed Letrozole. I started taking it in June 2024 and had to discontinue taking it this month due to the side effects. I will start taking Anastrozole starting next month. Please let me know how you have tolerated Anastrozole. I had a lumpectomy on my right breast in March 2024. I now have lymphedema in my right arm and wear a sleeve and glove. After my experience with cancer and oncologists, I hope and pray that it will not recur.

6 months agoMy niece has long COVID and absolutely not worth it to avoid the vaccine. Having to learn how to walk again at 32 years of age with a preschool child, & severely modifying to avoid over stimulation for every sense is not anything I’d wish on anyone.

6 months agoI had Covid twice and lung damage so followed in 2021 by pulmonologist with CT scan. I found my lump this summer and hind site was there on a CT scan of my chedt in 2021...mine was small and non changing. I had not received the vaccine prior to the 2021 vaccine but I think it came from the Covid virus. I had EPC...encapsulated papillary carcinoma...noninvasive and lumpectomy...partial radiation 5 days and now starting Tamoxifen 10mg every other day reluctantly as I question the necessity though recommended by two different oncologists.
Community Member
6 months agoDid you have EPC like me? Very curious...see my other response.

6 months agoMary G I did not have EPC. Mine is HER2+
