4 months agoHi Pam and Ruby - my sister, whom I'm caring for, was just diagnosed on Monday. She's not tech savvy, nor does she use any group apps, so I am going to be her voice, share for her, and maybe get her to connect. I have helped care for 6 family and friends, including my husband, who have all had different cancers. These types of groups were helpful to all of them..except my husband as it wasn't available to him.. Can I ask what types of treatment you are receiving?

4 months agoI underwent radiation for a total of 5 visits in July. Then started chemotherapy after I finished radiation treatment. I will have my 3rd chemo coming up August 12. My Doctor started with a very aggressive chemotherapy treatment plan so after my next chemo I will be retested with a PET Scan to see results.

3 months agoHi Ruby! My name is Jeni. I was originally diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2019. My care team and I thought that we had beaten it until my supposed to be last PET in May of last year. The cancer metasticized to lymph nodes in my neck so I am stage 4 now. This time treatment involved 2 chemotherapies, Keytruda, and Avastin according to the only study conducted for this and cervical cancer. So far, I am cancer free. I'm glad to be here with you and everyone else in our fights!
