What's it like taking Venclexta for CLL? Looking for real experiences

I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia in 2018. My doctor recently talked to me about Venclexta (venetoclax), which works by blocking a protein that helps cancer cells survive. They explained it could be part of my treatment plan to help control the CLL. My doctor mentioned I'd need regular blood tests for monitoring and that common side effects can include nausea, diarrhea, and increased infection risk. I'd love to connect with others who have CLL and hear about your experiences. • If you've taken Venclexta, what was your day-to-day experience like? • What tips or insights do you wish you had known earlier in your CLL journey?

Thank you for sharing your journey and reaching out to connect with others in this community. Many people here have navigated similar treatment decisions and may have valuable insights to share about their experiences with various CLL therapies. The questions you've asked about day-to-day experiences and helpful tips are exactly the kind of real-world knowledge that can make such a difference when facing treatment decisions. This community is a wonderful place to learn from others who truly understand what it's like to live with CLL, so hopefully you'll hear from members who can offer the perspectives you're looking for.
