How are you coping with starting cancer treatment after watch and wait?

I have been on watch and wait for almost two years. I just found out about a month ago that I have to start treatment because my numbers started increasing very quickly and the cancer is doing something to my spleen. I had my port put in two weeks ago (the friday before Christmas) and I started my treatment last week. I had two infusions last week and one this past Monday. I am really hoping and praying that the treatments go well and that I don't have side effects. I am trying to hold strong to my faith and God during this time.

Moving from watch and wait to active treatment can feel overwhelming, especially after nearly two years of monitoring. Many people in this community have walked a similar path and found that connecting with others who understand this transition can provide comfort and practical insights. This community is here to support you through each step of your treatment journey, and sharing your experiences - both the challenges and the victories - can help others facing similar situations.
