Should I choose Kadcyla or Enhertu after residual HER2+ breast cancer?

I had lumpectomy surgery two weeks ago to move residual metaplastic carcinoma from my breast. Clear margins were achieved. My original diagnosis was stage 2B and included two types of carcinoma, DCIS and ER/PR negative HER2 positive. Ten lymph nodes were removed, one of them was cancerous. I went through 6 cycles of TCHP and I’m now facing 15 rounds of radiation. Because there was residual cancer present at the time if surgery, an additional course of 14 rounds of either KADCYLA or Enhertu is being recommended. Enhertu has a great success rate for metastatic breast cancer, which I don’t have and comes with very serious warnings. It has recently been used for patients who have residual HER+ cancer in their tumors. I am having a difficult time making this decision. The KADCYLA would reduce my risk of it coming back in 5 years to 11%, but the Enhertu would take the risk down to about 5.5%. I had a difficult time on TCHP and I can’t imagine going through another 14 rounds of any type of chemo. Interested in anyone’s experience with either of these drugs.

Can I take GLP-1 medication with aromatase inhibitors and CDK4/6 inhibitors?

Looking for feedback or any clinical trials for taking GLP1 meds while on adjuvant aromatase inhibitor, as well as adjuvant CDK 4/6i with abemaciclib or ribociclib. (Hormone & Targeted Endocrine Therapy) Hi, my name is Christi. I was diagnosed in October 2025 with invasive dual carcinoma. Stage three-grade 3. I had two tumors, 4.6 & 2.5 cm. Had a double mastectomy with expanders, finishing up radiation, and then we’ll start the adjuvant aromatase inhibitor. I am concerned because my cancer is ER/PR Positive, I am considered obese on the weight scale with a BMI of 32. A common side effect with these hormone treatments, is weight gain. I’ve read that reoccurrence is more likely with a higher BMI. I’ve also read that GLP1 medication’s can still work while receiving these treatments and some study show, It actually helps to fight against reoccurrence. Anyone have experience with this?

Should I take hormone therapy for DCIS at 69 with clear margins?

Anyone in similar boat? DCiS in situ stage zero low grade noninvasive hormone positive. My DCis rat score wax4.3 I had lumpectomy clear margins radiation 15 treatments and 5 boost treatments. I’m hesitant about taking AI I’m 69 years old no breast cancer history Side effects are ridiculous from what I’ve read. The reoccurrence risk has already been greatly lowered. And some people get it again anyway ! Your thoughts?
