Finding clinical trials for metaplastic breast cancer can feel challenging since it's a rare subtype, but there are resources that can help connect you with current research opportunities. The clinical team at major cancer centers and organizations like ClinicalTrials.gov often have the most up-to-date information about trials specifically designed for rare breast cancer subtypes, and connecting with a patient navigator or oncologist familiar with metaplastic carcinoma research can be especially valuable in identifying suitable options.

Kathy I was just diagnosed with spindle cell neoplasm favoring metaplastic carcinoma rt breast. I had invasive ductal carcinoma in 2005 followed with chemo and radiation. Also had radiation of enlarged thymus 70 yrs ago. It is thought this is the cause for the spindle cell. Thyroid cancer was then attributed to having radiation of the thymus 40 yrs later. I am still waiting for the plan after surgery . What have you found out concerning any trials?
