2 years agoAre there any clinical trials for single hormone receptor breast cancer? I am ER+ (100%), PR-, HER2-.
Accepted Answer
There are clinical trials specifically designed for patients with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer subtypes like yours, and many research studies focus on optimizing treatments for different hormone receptor combinations. Consider speaking with your oncologist about current trial options that match your specific receptor profile, and you can also search clinical trial databases like ClinicalTrials.gov to explore studies in your area.

6 months agoHi Amelia, if you have access to your My Chart you can read your pathology report you don’t have to wait to hear from your doctor. If not you can call your Surgeon or Oncologists office , ask them if you are HER2 positive or negative, they will be able to tell you.

6 months agoThat was the answer: diagnosis of DCIS, only estrogen and progesterone receptors are performed. DCIS or ductal carcinoma in situ is a low grade cancer and considered Stage 0. There is not invasive cancer in which HER2 receptors are performed on. So, your pathology does not qualify to need further testing and you do not have triple negative breast cancer. I'll copy the results below for you to see if it is not posted on your chart.

6 months agoLook into the global phase 3 Ember-4 trial with Eli Lilly. I have 6 mos to go on my Anastrozole before I can begin. It’s for early ER positive HER2 negative with high risk of recurrence
