6 months agoTaking Kisqali 1.5 years... 600mg — tired, hair thinning, thin skin & nails — have just finished a month OFF to give my body a reset and will resume with 400mg (3 weeks on, 1 week off) in addition to Letrozole. I believe it is the Natalee study that showed 400mg is as effective as 600mg but with fewer side effects (and so also greater compliance) — for stage 2 and 3, but in talking with my ONCO she said it holds true for stage 4 as well… only time will tell, but already I can see new hair growth (wispy and fine, so looks like breakage at first sight, but googled the heck out of it and am convinced it’s what new hair growth looks like). My best advice — works for me — is to focus on a 30gr protein breakfast — otherwise I suffer a nausea best described as watery mouth and churning stomach. Curious when I start the 400g Kisqali tomorrow if I have a little more leeway, but that said, a protein-positive start to the day works in general… the Kisqali made me do it!!!
