Welcome to this supportive community! Post-surgery nutrition questions are incredibly common and important for recovery. Many people find that working closely with their oncology team, including a registered dietitian who specializes in colorectal cancer recovery, can provide the most personalized guidance for their specific situation and healing process. The gut microbiome topic you mentioned is an area of active research, and healthcare providers can offer evidence-based insights about recovery patterns. This community has many members who have navigated similar questions, so hopefully others will share their experiences with getting nutritional support during their recovery journey.

I was placed on low fiber diet and was told the Keto diet is best for cancer patients. I have researched and learned chicken has the highest protein of all meats and chicken is easiest meat to digest followed by fish due to CIQ10 Benefit.
