5 months agoGood morning, I hope everyone is having a good day today . Today I feel so anxious lm just thinking about chemo and the side effects, I start chemo on the 22 and drives me crazy not knowing whatโs gonna happen.

It's completely natural to feel anxious before starting chemo - the uncertainty can be one of the hardest parts of this journey. Many community members have found it helpful to write down questions for their care team beforehand and to focus on preparing comfort items for treatment days, which can provide a sense of control during this challenging time.

5 months agoI agree not knowing is the hardest part. Bring a good book, blanket or a friend to keep you company. Iโm going in on Mon for my second round. I was also scared and full of anxiety but Iโm getting there one round at a time. Every round for me is an accomplishment ๐

5 months agoHi. I have stage 3 colon cancer with cancer noted in 2 of 44 lymph nodes tested. I started my chemo yesterday (Monday, July 14). I have a pump I take home for 2 days. I am on FOLFOX. I too am anxious in not knowing what particular side effects I will experience and will the cancer be kept in place and cured. But I have a lot of people praying for me --church family and friends ๐ฅฐโ๏ธ๐!! Couldn't do this without the peace of God!
