2 months agoI’m a colorectal cancer survivor after my surgery in 2023. Have felt healthy the past couple years but now, they found another growth. I go to radiation first, then surgery on 11/7. I wanted to write to wish everyone the best, and fight on. Would love to hear from folks😀

2 months agoRaymond, I'm so sorry to hear you're going through this. I finished chemo this past March for stage 3 colorectal cancer and dread the day when it comes back. I hope your treatment goes well and you are cancer free once again. Just out of curiosity, did you have any genetic testing done during those 2 years? They are doing blood tests on me every 3 months so hopefully that will catch a reoccurance before it gets out of control. Good luck.

2 months agoHello Grace, no, I have not had any genetic testing. I am lucky, with good insurance, but they will not pay for that. Best to you

2 months agoI had surgery in 2022 and the colon cancer moved to my liver and lung. I can't eat anything hardly or I get very sick with pain. I got my results back from my test and the tumors are growing and I got one more and I'm doing everything naturally on the Joe Tippens and I had severe complications with a port. I feel devastated. They told me in February that I was pretty much just going to die soon. I'm terrified. I'm very very scared. I don't know what to do and which direction to take anymore. I told myself I was going to do a 10-day fast and just do juice and that's it. I've been trying to do fasts for a long time now and I can only make it through for a couple days. Thank you for sharing your story with me because I'm really scared and I need to know other people are going through the same thing
