3 months agoMy name is Laura Roberts, i was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in June of 2025, i was halfway through chemo and now, im having trouble with my counts dropping and not being able to get chemo. Has anyone else experienced the set back?
Accepted Answer
Blood count drops during chemotherapy treatment are actually quite common, and many people in the colorectal cancer community have navigated similar delays in their treatment schedules. While these setbacks can feel frustrating and worrying, oncology teams are experienced in managing these situations and adjusting treatment plans to keep patients safe while still working toward their treatment goals.

2 months agoMy white count dropped and wouldn't come back up, my doctor said I had to stop chemo. I'm now getting immunotherapy. Easier. My D, B-12, & iron was low. Getting supplements for the vitamins and an infusion this Monday for the iron. Never ends.
