Has anyone had experience with the drug P-mab (Panitunumab)? When was it introduced in the course of your treatment? What's your understanding of risks vs. benefits? Did it work for you? If you have other that I didn't think of, please include it in your answer. My current oncologist doesn't support it, but my second-opinion oncologist and surgeon from Memorial Sloan Kettering do. I'm trying to gather more information. Ahead of time, thanks for your thoughtful response. Take good care. Alison

Finding the right treatment path can feel overwhelming, especially when getting different opinions from medical teams. It's encouraging that you're taking the time to gather information and seek multiple perspectives from experienced oncologists. Community members here often share their experiences with various treatments, including targeted therapies, which can provide valuable insights alongside your medical consultations. Wishing you clarity as you work through this decision with your healthcare team.

I think that’s Keytruda. I’ve been taking it for 2 years and I am now NED. I did have lots of side effects and had to take steroids but immunotherapy along with becoming a vegan really helped me. I have stage 4 MSI HIGH Colon Cancer but I am now NED

Many thanks, Marcia, for responding and sharing your positive experience, which left me feeling pretty hopeful. Congratulations on your NED status -- that's wonderful!!! You're so fortunate that Keytruda clicked with you. Incredible! Wow! The drug I was referring to is called panitumumab. I decided to stick with my current oncologist. I have an MRI next week, which will determine what kind of surgery will happen to deal with my liver metastasis. Various options, with the HAIP being the best. Depending how the surgery goes, maybe there'll be some immunotherapy as part of the long term treatment plan. Despite how much I want to know every step of the plan now, I've been told to stick to the one-step-at-a-time plan. Sooo hard! Fingers crossed. Hope you'll check in here again. I could use another dose of your positivity! Be well, Marcia -- Alison
