Has anyone had a positive Signatera blood test after being cancer free?

I was diagnosed with stage 3c colorectal cancel in July 2024. I had surgery in August 2024 and started chemotherapy Sept 2024. By Feb 2025 I developed chemo induced toxicity and soentb2 weeks in hospital. But they said I was cancer free because if I was this sick so was the cancer. Since then I've had 2 CT scans and 3 signatera blood tests to test for tumor DNA. The 1st 2 came back negative (no tumor DNA) but the latest one came back with 1.54 MTM/ml. My oncologist wants to retest on Dec 1st but I don't know much more about this test except it test for tumor DNA in my blood and that could signal a recurrence of the cancer. Has anyone else had this test and had a positive result?

Signatera tests can detect very small amounts of circulating tumor DNA, and while any positive result understandably causes concern, there are various factors that can influence results including test sensitivity and individual variations. Many community members have shared experiences with ctDNA monitoring showing that results can fluctuate, and retesting as your oncologist suggested is a common and appropriate next step to get a clearer picture. The waiting period can feel overwhelming, but you're taking exactly the right steps by staying on top of monitoring and working closely with your medical team.
