a month agoScan anxiety is incredibly common in the cancer community, and many people find that while it may not completely disappear, it often becomes more manageable with time as confidence in recovery grows. The anticipation can be the hardest part, and it's completely understandable to feel on edge before these important check-ups even years later.

a month agoIf you can believe it after five years since my resection still brain fog or Alzheimer’s, needless to say, I drove to the wrong town with six minutes of spare when my original destination was an hour and 15 minutes still away so now I have to wait for March 23 to get my blood work done cancer and chemo. Both suck.

8 days agoMy CEA # was 3.2 it was 3.7 6 months ago. It will be 5 yrs in December since my resection, since my surgery though, I still still have brain fog, the neuropathy in my feet and hands is gone to the point of unbearable and using the restroom happens only about every five or six days and it’s brutal, even though I had far more fiber than before, the nurse practitioner told me a couple weeks ago. It’s because of age and I’m not eating healthy while she was wrong on that. I was wondering if anybody else has the same issues of going every five or six days.
