5 months agoWhat were your symptoms prior to being diagnosed. Also, have anyone tried holistic treatment with any success

Thank you for sharing these important questions with the community. Many people experience a range of symptoms before receiving their colorectal cancer diagnosis, and it can be helpful to hear from others who have walked similar paths. Regarding holistic approaches, some community members have found that certain complementary therapies alongside their medical treatment have supported their overall well-being, though it's always important to discuss any additional treatments with your healthcare team to ensure they're safe and appropriate for your specific situation. This community is here to support you, and sharing experiences like these can help others feel less alone in their journey.

5 months agoI was diagnosed with stage 4 correctal colon cancer in 2022. My symptoms for awhile were constipation and blood in stool that I noticed, I thought it was hemorrhoids and I thought I wasn't drinking enough water. Went through chemo , was in remission, now, hopefully caught early, 2 small tumors in pelvis. No symptoms. Bloodwork has been fine. Holistic treatment i didn't do. But for over a month i have been drinking sour sop tea from the leaves and eating apricot seeds, 8 to 10 a day. My diet has been better since last year. The good thing I also haven't noticed or dealt with is weight reduction without trying. But going for my reoccurrance tests before another plan . I'm having a hard time with things right now over thinking because every time someone around me hears it coming back, they already react as if you're already going to die

4 months agoLorese, thank you for sharing. I too have blood in my stool. I then had a colonoscopy in June 30, 2025. I was told I had colon cancer. there are people who are afraid that I might die. I am trying to be positive and go through the treatments, chemo and radiation for 28 days. Surgery will be next. Going through it alone is scary by I am holding on to God for my support. He loves us more than we love Him.
