I have recurring esophageal cancer. Just had a chemo treatments, which had very little effect on the cancer. We are looking into radiation treatment, has anyone done Protron treatments. What were your he side effects

Proton radiation therapy is one of the advanced treatment options that some patients explore for recurring esophageal cancer, and it's wonderful that you're researching all available possibilities during this challenging time. Hopefully, community members who have experience with proton therapy will share their insights about side effects and outcomes to help inform your discussions with your medical team.

My radiation treatments made me tired. Last week of treatment and week after were the worse.

I have esophageal cancer too. I did chemo and 28 radiation treatments. It had good response. I have a Pet scan coming up to see what’s left. It’s hard waiting on a scan. It feels like life is on hold.
