4 months agoIm Her 2 positive has anyone suffered low platelets during chemo ?
Accepted Answer
Low platelet counts (thrombocytopenia) can occur during chemotherapy treatment, and this concern is shared by many in the HER2+ community. It's important to discuss any blood count changes with your oncology team, as they can monitor your levels closely and adjust treatment timing if needed to keep you safe throughout your therapy journey.

3 months agoYes!!!! After round six I was super weak. A month out, I am still super fatigued, but I do feel a little improvement each week. It took four months to deplete my red blood cells; it will take a while to build them up.

3 months agoThat is something I went through as well @ Denise. If they are too low the Oncologist may wait til they build back up for your nxt treatment, but staying hydrated is key, and get fluids if you need to. We are here for you, you are strong 💪 and courageous Joshua 1:9 Hugs 🫂

3 months agoYes, I experienced the same. Each treatment they go down. I have one more treatment of chemo and hope to get back to normal with platelets and red blood cells soon. Hang in there ladies and god bless us all through this storm.
