a year agoSo they didn’t exactly get the total images they wanted. So I was again released and given more meds. Follow up ct and consult with thoracic surgeon showed my lungs and surrounding areas full of fluids. They immediately scheduled surgery. I was called to meet with the oncologist that I kept rejecting but just kept ordering test for me although he was not actually seeing me or contacting me to discuss what was going on.

Sudden surgery scheduling can feel overwhelming, especially when there's been a lack of clear communication from your healthcare team. It sounds like finally connecting with the oncologist might help you get the answers and explanations you've been seeking about your treatment plan. Many in this community have navigated similar communication challenges and understand how important it is to have your questions addressed directly.
